Science of Identity Foundation Contributes to Hurricane Maria Relief Efforts
Honolulu, Hawaii, October 10, 2017 (Newswire.com) - In response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria, Science of Identity Foundation has made a donation to the Hurricane Maria relief fund, and is also urging people to contribute whatever they can to ongoing relief efforts and collection drives.
Science of Identity Foundation president Jeanie Bishop said, “This is the strongest hurricane to hit Puerto Rico in more than 80 years. Most of the island is still without electricity, water, and food, and we are urging everyone to give whatever you can. Helping those in need is the heart of the Science of Identity Foundation’s mission, and the best part of our shared humanity. The response from our membership, as well as from other communities around the world, has been nothing short of inspiring.”
Founded in 1977 by Jagad Guru Siddhaswarupananda, the Science of Identity Foundation teaches ancient yoga wisdom, mantra meditation, and other techniques to help individuals achieve mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.
